The field of radionics and the informational field has been the subject of scientific research for over a century. In recent years the number of publications has been growing (e.g. Rubik B. et al., “Biofield Science and Healing: History, Terminology, and Concepts”, Global Advances in Health and Medicine, 2015), but existing studies are not yet sufficient for definitive clinical conclusions.

SmokeFix – a radionics and personal symbolic practice biotag, whose program theme is associated with a person's decision to quit smoking and the concept of energy field harmonization.

The biotag uses symbolic informational models associated with the theme of willpower, vitality, and inner strength. It is a tool for self-reflection and support of personal intention, not a medical treatment or addiction therapy method – the biotag has no biochemical effect on the body and does not cause physical reactions such as nausea or vomiting.

Various symbolic elements are used for this purpose: energetic patterns of herbs, crystals, and essential oils, associated with the themes of emotional endurance and inner calm, within the context of the radionics / energy-information model.

When is the SmokeFix Biotag used?
The SmokeFix Biotag is intended for use in radionics practice as a symbolic tool supporting a person’s inner intention to quit smoking. The program theme is associated with the concept of energy field harmonization and the themes of nicotine craving and emotional strength, within the context of the radionics / energy-information model.

How to use the SmokeFix Biotag?
It is recommended to attach the SmokeFix Biotag to the Tim Mee point – an extra point associated in acupuncture with quit-smoking practice, or alternatively to the LU 7 (Lie Que) point.

Tim Mee location: Found on the inner wrist, about one finger-width (approximately 1.5–2 cm) above the wrist crease, closer to the wrist than LU 7, between two tendons (flexor carpi radialis and palmaris longus).

Why Tim Mee fits: Tim Mee is an extra acupuncture point, associated in acupuncture practice with support for quitting smoking. At the level of the radionics / energy-information model, the SmokeFix biopatterns at this point are associated with the themes of the urge to smoke and emotional stability. The biotag has no direct biochemical effect on the body and does not cause a physical reaction.

Scientific context – acupuncture for quitting smoking: In the scientific literature, acupuncture and the stimulation of acupuncture points have been studied as complementary methods for quitting smoking. A Cochrane systematic review (White et al., PMID 24459016) found no consistent evidence that acupuncture is more effective than placebo interventions for long-term smoking cessation. This scientific information is provided in the context of acupuncture and acupuncture point stimulation.

LU 7 (Lie Que) location (alternative): Found on the inner wrist, about 1.5 inches (approximately 4 cm) above the wrist crease, next to the radial bone, between two tendons, with the arm gently extended, further from the wrist than Tim Mee.

Why LU 7 fits: Belonging to the Lung meridian, LU7 is associated in traditional Chinese medicine with the regulation of lung energy and the flow of “Qi”. At the level of the radionics / energy-information model, the SmokeFix biopatterns at this point are associated with the theme of nicotine craving and emotional support during the quitting process. The biotag has no direct biochemical effect on the respiratory system and does not cause a physical reaction in the body. Although less specific than Tim Mee, LU7 is regarded in the radionics model as a supplementary point alongside it.

How to use:

• Attach the biotag to the Tim Mee acupuncture point (or alternatively LU 7).
• Lightly press and massage the point, breathing deeply, for about 1–2 minutes, visualizing your intention to quit smoking.
• Leave the biotag attached for a month. Then take a week’s break.
• Occasionally, lightly press and massage the point.

When is it recommended to replace the SmokeFix Biotag?
The manufacturer recommends replacing the biotag one year after the start of use, due to changes in the properties of the magnetic carrier over time. This period is the manufacturer’s recommendation regarding product use, not an indication of medical or therapeutic effectiveness duration. After the specified period, it is recommended to use a new biotag. You will find the expiry date on the packaging.
