AlcoFix Biotag is a radionics and personal symbolic-practice product, whose programme theme is associated with a person's own decision to stop drinking alcohol.

The biopatterns programmed into the biotag are symbolic information patterns whose theme is associated with reflecting on dependency patterns and strengthening personal choice and intention — a tool for self-reflection and supporting personal intention.

The biotag also integrates symbolic information patterns of plants, vitamins, and minerals, associated with the general theme of body-and-mind balance.

How to use AlcoFix Biotag?
AlcoFix Biotag is recommended to be applied to the LV14 (Qimen) acupuncture point.

Location: Found below the ribs, on the right side, directly above the liver’s projection, between the 6th and 7th ribs (about 4-5 cm from the midline).

Why it fits: In traditional Chinese medicine, this point is considered the front-mu point of the Liver meridian, associated with regulating Liver Qi. AlcoFix biopatterns at this point are, on an energetic level, associated with the theme of liver energy and reducing alcohol craving. The biotag has no direct biochemical effect on the liver and does not cause any physical reaction in the body.

Scientific context (general information about acupuncture, not about this product): These references review scientific research on acupuncture as a method — they do NOT prove or confirm the effect of the AlcoFix biotag (a magnetic patch with programmed biopatterns), as this product has not been studied separately. Acupuncture (particularly auricular acupuncture under the NADA protocol) is being studied as a complementary approach for alcohol dependence and withdrawal — see randomized trials: PMID 32599496, 12814907, 11932132, and a systematic review PMC6176524, which shows the evidence remains limited and mixed. The LV14 point has specifically been studied in animal models for potential liver-protective effects (PMID 22764591, PMC3928919), not in human alcohol dependence trials. These studies are also unrelated to, and do not prove, the functioning of this biotag (magnetic patch).

Alternative: If LV14 feels uncomfortable, you can use LV3 (Taichong) — the point between the first and second toes, about 2 cm from where the toes meet. In traditional Chinese medicine, LV3 is also associated with regulating the Liver meridian and balancing emotions.

How to use:

• Apply the biotag to LV14 (Qimen) or alternatively LV3 (Taichong).
• Gently press and massage the point while breathing deeply, for about 1-2 minutes.
• Leave the biotag applied for a week, then take a one-day break.
• Occasionally press and massage the point lightly if you wish to bring extra focus to your intention.

When is it recommended to replace the AlcoFix Biotag?
The manufacturer recommends replacing the biotag after one year of use (due to changes in the magnetic carrier’s properties over time). This period is a manufacturer’s usage recommendation, not an indication of medical or therapeutic efficacy duration. The information in the chip remains, but after this period it is recommended to use a new biotag. You can find the expiration date on the packaging.
