What happened in a past life
In a past life you held sacred knowledge that you were meant to pass on to the world, and you did not. You either used it to harm or denied it, sometimes withdrawing into a hermit's life. So the world never learned of your talent.
This karma is tied to the energy of the Moon and its magical power, and the key points to a magical past. You may have been exiled or persecuted for your magical experience, which is why you now suppress your abilities or fear them.
The arcana of the 18-9-9 tail
The tail is read from the centre of the chart to its edge. Each of the three numbers is an arcana with its own meaning.
Arcana 18 in the Destiny Matrix: The Moon
Closest to the centre: how the lesson shows in character
Arcana 18 in the Destiny Matrix, The Moon: magic, intuition, prophetic dreams and the strongest gift for manifesting thoughts; in its minus, fear and illusion.
Arcana 9 in the Destiny Matrix: The Hermit
In the middle: how the lesson shows in events
Arcana 9 in the Destiny Matrix, The Hermit: innate wisdom, self-sufficiency, the power of solitude and a gift for healing with words.
Arcana 9 in the Destiny Matrix: The Hermit
Point D: the karmic task itself
Arcana 9 in the Destiny Matrix, The Hermit: innate wisdom, self-sufficiency, the power of solitude and a gift for healing with words.
Where to start
- Your main task is to gain knowledge, share it with the people around you and come out of seclusion. Accept your sacred knowledge and pass it on, without worrying that you are creating competitors. Help people with your experience, learn to communicate and grow creatively.
How this tail shows in your own chart
The full reading reads the tail with your whole chart: how it shows in money and relationships, its minus, all the advice for working through it and the family programs next to it.
How this code comes about
The third number is point D (the sum of the day, month and year of birth), here 9. The first number is D + the centre of the chart, here 18; the second is D + the first number, here 9. That gives the code 18-9-9.

Questions people ask
What does the 18-9-9 karmic tail mean?
The 18-9-9 tail is called "The Magician, the Sorcerer". It describes a lesson the soul brought from past experience that keeps repeating until it is learned. The meaning of its three arcana and the first steps are on this page.
How do I know if I have the 18-9-9 karmic tail?
Calculate your Destiny Matrix chart from your date of birth. If the line from the centre to point D holds 18, 9, 9, this is your tail.
Can the 18-9-9 karmic tail be worked through?
Yes: the tail shows a repeating scenario, not a sentence. Once a person sees it and lives the tail's energies in their plus, the lesson closes. The full plan, read with the whole chart, is in the full reading.
