What happened in a past life
In a past life you were disabled or seriously ill. Others looked after you and helped you. You never accepted your condition, you became fixated on the illness and forgot about the soul.
This karma is also tied to a different kind of sight, to sacrifice and to serving people. You may have belonged to a magical order, kept sacred knowledge, healed, or worked as an astrologer or philosopher. Women with this key often had a magical gift in the past and could have been persecuted for it.
The arcana of the 18-3-12 tail
The tail is read from the centre of the chart to its edge. Each of the three numbers is an arcana with its own meaning.
Arcana 18 in the Destiny Matrix: The Moon
Closest to the centre: how the lesson shows in character
Arcana 18 in the Destiny Matrix, The Moon: magic, intuition, prophetic dreams and the strongest gift for manifesting thoughts; in its minus, fear and illusion.
Arcana 3 in the Destiny Matrix: The Empress
In the middle: how the lesson shows in events
Arcana 3 in the Destiny Matrix, The Empress: feminine energy of fertility, abundance and power, home, children, status and material wealth.
Arcana 12 in the Destiny Matrix: The Hanged Man
Point D: the karmic task itself
Arcana 12 in the Destiny Matrix, The Hanged Man: service to people, mercy and a different view of the world; in its minus, self-sacrifice and stagnation.
Where to start
- Your main task is to support and spiritually help those who are helpless or suffering. Help people with illness and physical limitations, volunteer, and give to charity when you can. But help only when you have enough resources yourself. Notice moments of compulsive rescuing and learn to tell needed help from excessive help.
How this tail shows in your own chart
The full reading reads the tail with your whole chart: how it shows in money and relationships, its minus, all the advice for working through it and the family programs next to it.
How this code comes about
The third number is point D (the sum of the day, month and year of birth), here 12. The first number is D + the centre of the chart, here 18; the second is D + the first number, here 3. That gives the code 18-3-12.

Questions people ask
What does the 18-3-12 karmic tail mean?
The 18-3-12 tail is called "Physical Suffering". It describes a lesson the soul brought from past experience that keeps repeating until it is learned. The meaning of its three arcana and the first steps are on this page.
How do I know if I have the 18-3-12 karmic tail?
Calculate your Destiny Matrix chart from your date of birth. If the line from the centre to point D holds 18, 3, 12, this is your tail.
Can the 18-3-12 karmic tail be worked through?
Yes: the tail shows a repeating scenario, not a sentence. Once a person sees it and lives the tail's energies in their plus, the lesson closes. The full plan, read with the whole chart, is in the full reading.
