What the talent zone in the Destiny Matrix is

In the Destiny Matrix every person has talents; not all of them are visible to others straight away. The method looks for them at the top of the chart, on the vertical sky line that runs from the month of birth down to the centre. The sky line stands for spiritual tasks, and its upper stretch is called the higher essence, or the zone of talents and skills.

The anchor of the zone is B, the month of birth. Through it a person is connected to higher forces, God or the Universe, depending on what they believe in. It is called the guardian angel point: it shows through which energies a person is supported and guided all their life, what inspires them and what, on the contrary, drags them down. It is the most positive energy in the chart and often one of the strongest.

Talents are laid down in their plus from the start. That is not a promise but starting capital: a talent that is not developed fades. So the talent zone is read not as a list of qualities but as an answer to the question of where to put your effort.

The zone answers a few practical questions: what a person's natural gift is, what experience they brought with them, where inspiration comes from, which abilities came from the father's and the mother's family, and at what age they begin to show. Read it once the whole chart is calculated: the points next to the centre and the corner depend on the centre, and the centre depends on all four corners of the personal square.

The three points of the talent zone and what they mean

The zone is a key of three energies read from the top down, from the large circle towards the centre. The first energy is the month of birth, the second stands next to corner B, the third next to the centre. The month of birth is the strongest energy of this key: it is your inner potential.

Authors differ on what to call the two inner points. In one scheme the point next to the centre (B + centre) is the talent of self-expression, the gift given from above, and the point next to the corner (B + the point next to the centre) holds the skills and abilities inherited from past incarnations; another book calls that same corner point the spiritual task of the key. A third scheme reverses the order: the middle energy of the key is the talent from God and the third is the skill from a past life, the field in which the person was already a professional. The formula is the same in every case; only the name of the point changes.

How to calculate your talents by date of birth

For the talent zone you only need the day, month and year of birth. The main rule of the method: a number above 22 is reduced by adding its digits, not by subtracting 22.

1. Write down the day of birth: this is point A. If the day is above 22, add its digits.
2. Write down the month of birth: this is point B, the top of the chart.
3. Add the digits of the year of birth: this is point C; reduce a number above 22.
4. Find D = A + B + C and the centre = A + B + C + D.
5. The point next to the centre on the sky line = B + centre.
6. The point next to the corner = B + the point next to the centre.
7. The talent from the father's line, the top left corner of the family square = A + B.
8. The talent from the mother's line, the top right corner = B + C.
9. Write the five energies side by side and mark any repeats.

Talents from the father's and mother's lines

Besides the gift from above, talents are passed down the male and female family lines. The talent of the father's family stands in the top left corner of the family square (A + B), the talent of the mother's family in the top right corner (B + C). The upper points of the family lines speak of the family's talents and abilities, the lower ones of character traits that have not been worked through.

These talents have their own age. The talent from the father's line arrives by 10, the one through the guardian angel point by 20 and the one from the mother's line by 30. This matches the age scale of the chart, where the top left corner stands for age 10, point B for 20 and the top right corner for 30.

Like B, family talents usually come in their plus, so you can start using them right away. Deeper along the family lines lie the triples of the family's spiritual karma: the corner, the corner + centre, then the corner + the number just found (one book uses the family force instead of the centre). They hold both the programs the ancestors lived out in their minus and the family's undisclosed talents. How to read the talent points together

First look at each energy on its own: its plus and what blocks it. Then bring all five points together, B, the two points of the sky line and the two top corners of the family square, into one picture.

A practical order: first B as the main source of support, then the point next to the centre as the way the gift shows outwardly, then the point next to the corner as the experience you can lean on. After that add the family talents in order of age, the father's by 10 and the mother's by 30, and mark which numbers repeat.

• Repeat. If one energy stands in several talent points, the person has that talent twice over.
• Resonance without a point. If an energy feels close to you but is not among your talent points, you have developed it in its plus elsewhere in the chart.
• You do not recognise yourself. If the described talent has nothing to do with you, it is in its minus for now and can be opened.
• A mirror of the tail. If the talent key matches the karmic tail, the person knew in the past how to act rightly and still went wrong; the lesson repeats.
• The link with money. The energies of the money channel together with the talent from God show how to reach both self-realisation and a high income.
• The link with the health map. The three points of the key stand in the energy column at sahasrara, ajna and vishuddha, and the point next to the centre is part of the heart point on the sky line (centre + the point next to the centre).

Example: the talent zone for 23.06.1992

Step by step. Day 23 gives A = 2 + 3 = 5. The month is B = 6. The year 1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 21 is C. D = 5 + 6 + 21 = 32 → 3 + 2 = 5. Centre = 5 + 6 + 21 + 5 = 37 → 10.

The sky line. The point next to the centre = B + centre = 6 + 10 = 16. The point next to the corner = B + the point next to the centre = 6 + 16 = 22. The talent key reads from the top down as 6-22-16: The Lovers, The Fool, The Tower.

Month 6, The Lovers: the connection with higher forces runs through love and choices made with the heart. The gift is attracting people and circumstances, a sense of harmony, taste, creating beauty and cosiness. It is blocked by idealisation, perfectionism and capriciousness.

The point next to the centre, 16, The Tower: in the scheme where this is the talent of self-expression, it is the gift of spiritual leadership, the ability to build from scratch and to tear down the old for the new, and to come through trials. The point next to the corner, 22, The Fool: inner freedom, humour, adapting to any conditions and finding a way out of any situation, as a skill brought from the past. In the scheme with the reversed order, 22 reads as the talent from God and 16 as the skill from a past life; the energies are the same, only the emphasis shifts.

Family talents. The father's line A + B = 5 + 6 = 11, Strength: leadership, stamina, working on several fronts at once; on the age scale this is age 10. The mother's line B + C = 6 + 21 = 27 → 9, The Hermit: wisdom, deep knowledge, passing it on to a small circle; this is age 30. The triple of the father's line is 11-21-5, of the mother's line 9-19-10.

Putting it together. There are no repeats among B, 11 and 9, so no talent is doubled. The karmic tail of this date is 15-20-5; it does not match the key 6-22-16, so there is no mirror. The money channel starts at 4 (The Emperor) and leads to 5 (The Hierophant): work for the gift of attracting people and building something new (6 and 16) is worth looking for where there is managing and teaching. On the health map the same numbers stand in the energy column at sahasrara (6), ajna (22) and vishuddha (16), and the heart point of the sky line = 10 + 16 = 26 → 8.

Plus and minus in the talent zone

The energy of B is most often lived in its plus. If it has slipped into its minus, the first thing to check is whether your focus has moved entirely to the material side of life at the expense of spiritual growth: that is when the point of connection with higher forces weakens. In the minus a person seems temporarily cut off from support and finds it harder to find their path and live with joy; in the plus they clearly understand what their life is for and do work that brings satisfaction. In the plus, intuition and the inner voice are easy to hear through this point and the person radiates an inner light.

Each energy has its own blocks. For some energies talents are shut off by selfishness and an unwillingness to share, for others by idealisation and perfectionism, for others by aggression and a lack of boundaries, for others by withdrawing into isolation. A separate case is the karmic tail 'lost talent', 6-17-11. In a past incarnation the person did not believe in their gift or put themselves above others. In this life the talent is given again, not necessarily a creative one, and the task is to believe in yourself and show it to many people without trading it for short-term gains.

Seven levels at which a talent is realised

Finding a talent is not enough; what matters is how widely it is expressed. The method names seven levels, and an honest look at them shows where to grow next.

The levels do not mean a talent must be made public. But if a gift stays at the first or second level for years while the energy in the point is strong, ask yourself what keeps you from showing it more widely: self-doubt, routine, pressure from those around you or the habit of short-term stability.

• For yourself: you do it, but nobody knows.
• For your family: the people at home see the talent.
• For those close to you: friends and colleagues know about it.
• For people: those you know of but not personally know about your abilities.
• For society: strangers know about them.
• For God: the realisation is tied to spiritual growth.
• For the family line: you pass the talent on to your descendants.

Common mistakes when reading the talent zone

Most differences in talent readings come not from interpretation but from the calculation and from which points are taken into account at all. Check yourself against this list before drawing conclusions.

• Subtracting 22 instead of adding the digits. The points next to the centre and the corner then come out differently, and the whole zone belongs to someone else.
• Reading only the month of birth. B is the anchor, but without the two points of the sky line and the family talents the picture is incomplete.
• Mixing up the point next to the centre and the point next to the corner. The formulas differ: first B + centre, then B + the number just found.
• Thinking a talent can only be creative. A gift can be for organising, teaching, healing or business.
• Waiting for a talent to appear by itself. A gift laid down in its plus fades without development.
• Forgetting about age. Family talents arrive by 10 and 30, the gift from above by 20; in a child some of them have not yet shown.

What to do with your talent zone

The method advises building your choice of profession or field on your talent: a gift that is opened helps you fulfil your purposes. The most practical step is to compare the talent zone with the money channel, which shows what money comes through, and look for work where the two meet. Skills from a past incarnation give a quick start: a person settles into that field easily, but the task is not to stop there and to keep building new experience.

If B is in its minus, bring the spiritual side back into your life: how your energy connects with higher forces differs from arcana to arcana, for one it is unconditional love for yourself, for another study and a gradual pace, for another work with the family line. Use the seven levels to see where your main talent is now and take one step up.

In a child's chart the talent zone is looked at first: it tells the parents what to develop in the child and where to steer them, before the child's comfort zone is read.
