A year of Temperance is about balance. In its plus it brings harmony and stability, including in your personal life, creativity, trips to nature, hikes and travel, a circle of like-minded people and finding faith. With money it means profit and growth, or at least breaking even with a small plus. Pregnancy and childbirth are possible. In its minus the balance is lost: unexpected spending, cancelled trips, a creative crisis, serious conflict, too much trust and fanaticism, self-sacrifice and addictions flaring up.
In the centre of the forecast, arcana 14 makes moderation the theme of the year: things work as long as the balance holds. In the points read only as a plus (B and the inspiration point, A + B), it supports creativity, travel and steady growth. In the points read only as a minus (C and D), it speaks of unplanned expenses and conflict. In the weakness point (B + C) it shows a habit of trusting too much. How do you calculate the arcana of the year?
A year gets its own date: the days in the year reduced to an arcana (365 → 14, 366 → 15), the digit sum of the year plus 12, and the year itself. Add it to your date of birth part by part (day to day, month to month, year to year) to get points A, B and C; then D = A + B + C, and the centre is the sum of all four.
