The Star brings a person into the light. On the plus side that means recognition and popularity, promotion and a new status, finishing your studies, a qualification or title, allies and partners, new horizons and talents, creative work, recovery, outside support, lucky meetings and a change of style. On the minus side the light can mislead: criticism, undervalued work, spending that disappoints, illusions, trusting dubious people, empty meetings and efforts, pride, failed cosmetic procedures and a new addiction.
In the centre of the forecast, arcana 17 makes showing yourself the theme of the year: people will see, judge and back you, but may also criticise. In point B and the inspiration point it is read only as a plus – recognition, promotion, creative work, new allies. In point C and point D it is read only as a minus: spending that disappoints and an undervalued project in C; pride, false hopes and trust in the wrong people in D. The weak-spot point shows where you are vulnerable before others.

Arcana 17 in the centre of the year forecast
The centre shows the main events and the general background of the year. The Star there makes it a year of showing yourself: studies come to an end, recognition, new roles and partners arrive, and talents open up. The other side of the same background is criticism, illusions and pride. The centre affects the whole chart, so it is read alongside the other points, above all the weak-spot point.
Arcana 17 on the minus side of the year: what to watch for?
In point C, point D and the weak-spot point, The Star warns of criticism and of your project or skill being undervalued. Money may go on things that do not meet expectations. False hopes, trust in dubious people, meetings that lead nowhere, empty efforts and relationships, and pride are all possible. The list also names failed cosmetic procedures and picking up an addiction.
How do I calculate the arcana of my year?
The year gets its own date: the day is the number of days in it, reduced (365 → 14, 366 → 15), the month is its digit sum plus 12, the year stays – for 2026, 14.22.2026. Add this to your date of birth day to day, month to month, year to year, and reduce anything above 22 by adding its digits. That gives points A, B and C; the rest follow. Arcana 17 can land in any point; the calculator does it for you.
